Modern Approach to Reclaimed Wood
Ark is a company that is reimagining the use of reclaimed wood for architectural, residential and commercial products. I had the opportunity to work with their staff and produce concepts, renders and plans for their company. I created all of these are renders during my time with them. In addition, some concepts, though not all, I also developed.
Process
Here is an example process, starting with a quick sketch, to a more refined render, to a physical mock up. This process insures that the design reads, not only digitally, but physically as well.
Ark’s First Client
Ark attracted their first client through one of my original designs. Here is an image from concept to actual installation. This installation can be seen at a local brewery in Providence, RI. To the left is the initial rough render and the right is the manufactured and installed final product.
